Carly had recently moved to Charleston from Washington D.C. and joined a rec kickball league hoping to meet new people. While introducing herself to the team, she mentioned she was a yoga teacher, and Alex immediately asked if she could show him some stretches for his sore muscles from playing kickball (very smooth). After each game, they were always the last ones at the park, talking long after everyone else had gone home, with Alex walking Carly to her car. (She may have brought her dog, Shelby, to a few games just to make sure she approved. 😉) When Alex finally asked Carly out on a bowling date for the following weekend, neither of them wanted to wait a whole week. Instead, their first real date happened the very next night at Dog & Duck, where they watched Monday Night Football while checking their fantasy football lineups between plays. From kickball teammates to first dates to homeowners to future husband and wife, they're counting down the days until they get to say, "I do!"
