Peddler's Village

-One of Bucks County’s prime attractions. Peddler’s Village is a storybook village with charming colonial-style buildings, award-winning gardens and distinctive shopping, dining and lodging. -Favorite spots include: Mama Hawk's Kitchen and Coffee, Caleb's American Kitchen (this is across the street from Peddler's Village), Earl's New American, Buttonwood Grill, Cock 'n Bull

New Hope and Lambertville

-Please note, May 18th weekend is Gay Pride weekend/festival- this area will likely be VERY crowded. Parking will likely be very difficult. -Located right on the Delaware River. Home to eclectic shopping, riverside restaurants and cultural attractions. Walk across the bridge to Lambertville NJ where there are many shops, galleries, and coffee shops, and restaurants. -Favorite spots include: New Hope Ferry Market, Artists' Gallery (featuring local artist Claudia Fouse Fountaine- maid of honor's mom), The Logan Inn, Lambertville Station

Doylestown

-Recognized by USA Today as having America’s “best small town cultural scene” in 2019. -There are many shops/restaurants and a beautifully restored art-deco theater. -Mercer Museum: A castle housing more than 40,000 early American artifacts. See website for changing exhibits in the galleries. -Michener Art Museum: Collects, preserves, interprets, and exhibits art, primarily American art, and promotes the Delaware River Valley region’s rich artistic and cultural heritage, with a particular focus on Bucks County. -Note: Also home to one of Alex’s favorite musicians, Anthony Greene. If you see him make sure to wave "hello."

Washington Crossing Historic Park

-The park preserves the site where George Washington crossed the Delaware River and turned the tide of the Revolutionary War. -Bowman’s Hill Tower: Get a bird’s eye view of the surrounding countryside and Delaware River. You can also eat at Bowman's Tavern.

Newtown

-The town where Carly grew up! -Visit State Street in Newtown Borough for quaint and unique shops and restaurants. -Home to the oldest movie theatre in the U.S. The Newtown Theatre started showing films in 1906. -Favorite spots include: Pat’s Colonial Kitchen, Calm Waters Coffee, Zebra Striped Whale, Newtown Farmer’s Market, David J Witchell Salon & Spa (the only place Carly trusts with her eyebrows- highly recommend making an appointment ahead of time!), Newtown Book and Record Exchange -Tyler State Park: Divided into sections by the Neshaminy Creek. Offers canoeing, hiking, biking and equestrian trails.
