We are getting married!!!

We both swiped right on Facebook Dating. Alex started off the conversation with the smoothest line he knew, 'Hey,' and it all began there. We didn't have our first date until a month after talking online. Thanks to Covid, everything was shut down. So, Alex invited Caitlin over to his house for dinner—her favorite, fettuccine alfredo that he made from scratch. It was perfectly awkward, as any other first date can be, but we wouldn't change it for the world. A few more dates and adventures passed, then came our first kiss. Sitting in his living room, watching the new Mulan movie, Caitlin was talking about something random, and then, all of a sudden, Alex was kissing her. He then asked if she would be his girlfriend. After that, their love story is filled with adventures, hard times, new life experiences, animals, and, of course, lots of love. On December 22nd, 2023, we went to look at Christmas lights at the Grotto. Caitlin thought she was being cute and planning a date with another couple friends of ours. As we were walking around, Alex was holding Caitlin's hand and made a comment on how warm her hands were. Caitlin said, 'Thanks, they have been in my pockets to stay warm. Yours are... a bit clammy.' Everyone awkwardly laughed. While they were going to get hot chocolate, Caitlin noticed that they had a 'wishing tree' where you write on a piece of paper what you wish your next year will be like. Caitlin wrote, 'I wish that next year will be full of love and adventures.' A little while later, we were drinking our hot chocolate, and Alex said, 'We should take a photo in front of that wishing well.' So we started posing for pictures, and Alex whispered in her ear, 'I know you thought you were surprising me, but I am actually surprising you.' Caitlin turns to him and says, 'What the FU.....' and Alex got down on one knee and said, 'I choose you for the rest of my life.'"
