FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 4th. As this is an international wedding we have lots of planning!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Have you met us? Yes. Drinks will be flowing for all events! For the welcome cocktails and rehearsal dinner you can expect beer, wine and soft drinks. For the wedding there will be a full bar.

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding? For other events?

Answer

Please see the schedule page for a more detailed insight into dress code, but yes there is a dress code and suggested color pallet for our wedding! Please no jeans or white.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding and reception (with the exception of the dancefloor) will be outside on grass. Please plan footwear accordingly.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). We want you to be fully present and enjoy the moment as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture the moment and promise to share with you as soon as we receive them. Trust us, we work in the social media space, there will be plenty of content. Before and after the ceremony feel free to take as many photos as you want!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space of our intimate wedding, we are only able to accomodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We will be staying at the villa from October 2nd to the 6th. If you would like to stay at the villa with us we have a discounted rate, please reach out to us for next steps. Alternatively, there are many great airbnbs in the area!

Question

What is the weather going to be like?

Answer

It should be warm! Typically in October in Cascais the weather is in the low 70s. The wedding is outside so please dress accordingly.

Question

What do I need in order to travel to Portugal?

Answer

You will need a passport. We recommend your passport be valid at least six months beyond the dates of your trip as some countries require this. You do not need any specific vaccines to travel to Portugal.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know this so we can have our catering team accommodate.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed, but we completely understand. If you cannot attend our wedding please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

No. We love you all so much and the fact you flew overseas to spend time with us is the best gift we could ask for. We very seriously mean this. Please no gifts. If you really truly insist, feel free to contribute to our honeymoon fund.
