Alex and I met in middle school through our common interest in the Carolina Hurricanes. We "dated" for a whole month and called things off. We rekindled in high school over a tacky Christmas sweater that I had to wear to get extra credit in one of my classes. I guess he REALLY liked that sweater, because he slid into my Instagram DM's on Christmas Eve. He asked if we could go see a movie, and naturally I picked Frozen. He asked me out that night on January 11, 2014. We haven't looked back since.
