What is “the farm?”

Answer

The farm is where Brogan grew up! Alex and Brogan like visiting to relax and enjoy the views. It’s located by The State Arboretum of Virginia and is accessible by gravel roads through private property. The farm is a 60 minute drive from Dulles Airport and 75 miles west of D.C.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you can! We ask no later than July 15, 2025.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Thanks for leaving your kids at home! Due to limited space, this is an adults-only wedding.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Comfortable, airy, light clothing. We will be outside on uneven ground. The farm is a place to frolic.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We encourage use of the shuttles since there is limited parking at the farm and the fields may be muddy. There is more parking at Blandy State Arboretum, which is about a 15 minute walk. A map with directions will be sent out in an email!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Do you have any lodging recommendations?

Answer

We recommend staying near Old Town Winchester or near the farm! Please see the Travel section for hotels with reserved room blocks. Camping at the farm is also an option!
