When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know by August 6th. Complete your RSVP on our website to confirm meal choices for all family members.

Where should we park for the Welcome Dinner at Schmanska Barn?

Answer

There is a parking lot across the street from Schmanska Park. There is also a road that leads into the park up to the barn that is available to use for a closer drop off point. Parking is still advised in the lot across the street after drop off.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Please wear whatever you're most comfortable in! We'll be spending time outdoors at the summit of Mt Philo and indoors at Waterworks for dinner.

Ceremony - Outdoors (terrain includes grass and gravel pathways) Mt Philo Reception - Outdoors (food, drinks, & additional seating will be indoors in the nearby cabin!) Dinner - Indoors at Waterworks

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In early September, the weather is typically mild during the day and cooler at night. Daily high temperatures hover in the mid-to-low 70s (°F), while nighttime lows drop into the 50s. It is typically one of the clearest and driest times of the year. However, there is always a chance for light rain. Average High: 73 to 76 F Average Low: 53 to 58 F

Will there be transportation provided between Mt Philo and Waterworks?

We won't be providing transportation, so please use your own vehicle. Thank you!

How do I get to the top of Mt Philo for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be at the top of Mt Philo. Mt Philo has a paved road that allows you to drive to the top of the mountain (with parking spots located at the top close to the ceremony location). You may also park at the bottom and hike up to the top if you're interested - it is a popular hiking spot for families and takes about 45min to get to the top (~1 mile, 600 ft elevation gain). When you arrive at the check-in booth, please mention that you're here for Alex & Brian's wedding ceremony.

Where should we park for the dinner at Waterworks?

Waterworks is located at 20 Winooski Falls Way, Winooski, VT 05404 Street Parking - Free on Sundays Winooski Parking Garage (20 Cascade Way) - Free on Sundays The entrance to Waterworks is located at the bottom of Cascade Way (right next to the river).

What is for dinner at Waterworks?

Answer

Please select your entree for each family member when you RSVP. Choices: Chicken Statler (with smoked maple aioli) Roasted Atlantic Salmon (with lemon dill aioli) Cheese Ravioli (with pomodoro red sauce) [Vegetarian] Kids - Mac & Cheese, Fries (optional) A kids option is available for young children, but we encourage them to choose a main entree if they would like one.

Your presence is our greatest gift! Because we already have everything we need, we have chosen not to register for gifts. We just want to celebrate with you :)
