We met when Alex moved to North Myrtle Beach. From the moment we met, we instantly became friends. From My Strange Addiction marathons topped with Oreo Sonic Blasts, to Brianna *trying* to teach Alex to play the guitar, to leading kids in worship alongside each other, we always had fun when we were together.

Fast forward about 6 years later. We were singing the song Perfect by Ed Sheeran together for a students event. We stood about as far a part as we could from each other while singing a love song! * This is when the feels really started for me. I found out later on that Alex had a crush on me since he moved to SC! - Brianna

After a few weeks of knowing we both had a crush on each other (ahem - thanks to some family and close friends), Alex asked Brianna on a date. And you know what they say... the rest is history.

We went for lunch at one of our favorite spots, Marina Bar and Grill. Alex asked me to walk down to the waterway with him to "look at the boats." While we were standing there, he got down on one knee and asked me to make him the happiest man on earth. Everything about this afternoon was thoughtful and full of genuine love. He even wore the shirt he wore on our first date. - Brianna
