Shuttles to our venue

We've arranged shuttles to take you to and from the Hotel Roanoke and our venue. Pick up for the ceremony will be at 3:30 pm on the conference side of Hotel Roanoke, along Wells Avenue.

Driving to our venue

Please note, the Blue Ridge Parkway is currently closed between U.S 220 and mile marker 155. If you are driving yourself from downtown Roanoke, please use the Chestnut Ridge Entrance, via Rutrough Road. (Directions below) The Explore Park does have free parking, but we do not advise leaving your car overnight so please plan accordingly.

Hotel Roanoke

Hotel Roanoke is a historic hotel in the heart of Downtown Roanoke. From here, you can walk to the farmer's market and many of our favorites restaurants. (Check out the Things to Do tab for our recommendations!) We will have shuttles available to pick up from this hotel to the ceremony location and take you back at the end of the reception. We'll also be having a Farewell Brunch at this hotel on Sunday!

Driving Directions to the Explore Park

From Hotel Roanoke: Take Williamson Road NE towards Tazewell Ave SE, turn left onto Tazewell Ave SE. In half a mile, turn right onto 9th St SE. When the road comes to a T turn, left onto Rt. 116. At the traffic circle, take the first exit onto Riverland Rd, and then the first left onto Rutrough Rd SE. After 4.5 miles, turn left onto the Explore Park Service Entrance (Chestnut Ridge Rd) just past the little stone church. From SpringHill Suites: Take Reserve Ave SW towards S Jefferson St, turn left onto S Jefferson St. In half a mile turn right onto Walnut Ave SE. In a quarter of a mile, turn left onto Piedmont St just past Blue Cow Ice Cream Co. Then take the second street on your right to Rt 116 (also called Riverland Rd SE), stay on here for 1.5 miles. At the traffic circle, take the first exit onto Riverland Rd, and then the first left onto Rutrough Rd SE. After 4.5 miles, turn left onto the Explore Park Service Entrance (Chestnut Ridge Rd) just past the little stone church.
