Our 21st century love story began by crossing paths on a dating app. After daily texting, we finally had our first date at The Phoenix. There was a spark from the moment we met and that spark stayed with us throughout the night. Sipping Old Fashioneds for hours and telling one another our life stories, we both knew that this could turn into something special. And it ended up turning into forever!

Alex bent the knee on one of the couple's weekend walks through Culver City Park, with a spectacular view over Los Angeles and the most beautiful ring in his hand. After telling both families the great news, Alex surprised Bettina with all of her closest LA friends joining to celebrate the engagement... while following all the social distancing rules!
