Chuns Reef Beach
This beautiful little beach located up on North Shore is where we took our engagement photos, and where Alex first learned how to surf! When you step onto the beach, to the right you will see a beautiful stretch of soft white sand, and to the left a large rocky area where there are tide pools where the crabs like to scuttle about and the honu (green sea turtles) like to come hang out for a snack!
Marugame Udon
Alex's favorite Udon spot! The Curry Nikutama is the best!
Sura Hawaii
Just some great Korean BBQ!
Byodo-In Temple
We love it here, even when it's busy there's a certain peace to the place. We also love feeding the birds and Koi with the feed provided at the gift shop!
Makapuʻu Point Lighthouse Trail
Beautiful hike on a paved path up to the lighthouse. There's minimal shade though so go really early, later in the evening, or stock up on sunscreen and water!
