Check-in to the villa is from 3 PM on Tuesday September 8, 2026. Check out is by 10 AM on Friday September 11, 2026.

I'm planning to take a train - what are the best options for me?
Answer
Websites for booking train tickets: 'TrenItalia': https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html 'ItaliaRail': https://www.italiarail.com/ 'Omnio' : https://www.omio.com/ The arriving train station is Chiusi, Italy. There should be train availability from any of the major cities in Italy. We will have a shuttle on arrival day from Chiusi train station to the venue from 2-6 PM. Check-in begins at 3 PM. We will have a shuttle on check-out day from 7-11 AM. Check-out is at 10 AM. Please reach out to Annie or Alex with any questions. We recommend purchasing the tickets online as soon as you know your travel plans as it is easier to navigate than the kiosks at the train stations.

Is transportation provided if I take the train?
Answer
Transportation will be provided to and from the train station on arrival and departure day. The shuttle will be available at the times listed above, since there are minimal uber or taxis available in the small town we urge you to try your best to arrive within that time frame.

I'm planning to rent a car - how do I get to the venue?
Answer
There are ample parking spots at the venue, so renting a car is a great option for those interested. When using maps the venue is 'Agriturismo Antico Podere Siliano' and the address is: Vocabolo Sigliano 47, 06062 Citta Della Pieve PG, Italy.

What are the accomodations like?
Answer
The villa is comprised of various apartments, rooms and houses. There is air conditioning in each unit. Arrangements will vary and specific rooms will be assigned closer to the wedding date. Bath towels are provided in each room and pool towels are available at the bar for pool use. Hair dryers and basic toiletries are available in each bathroom. A steamer and an iron are available at the venue and can be requested from the staff.

Do I have to purchase meals?
Answer
No! All meals and drinks throughout the duration of the week will be provided. There is an area in the villa where drinks and snacks can be purchased between meals if necessary.

Is there any time to sight see / travel during the wedding days?
Answer
Yes! The day after the wedding is a great time to do so. We will be having a pool party and barbeque during the day, followed by a sit-down dinner at the venue. These are completely optional events. Montepulciano a beautiful town known for their wineries is worth exploring and is about 40 minutes away. The small medieval city center of Citta Della Pieve is only 10 minutes away by car with food, shops and sites. Also, for those interested in golfing, there is a beautiful 9 hole course 30 minutes away: Golf Club Lamborghini (https://www.tenutalamborghini.com/golf). If anyone is interested in getting a round in, please notify Alex as soon as you can so he can put together a group to ensure availability as reservations are required.

What is the weather like in September in Umbria?
Answer
The weather in Umbria in September is usually 75 - 79 F during the day and 55 - 59 F at night. Pending weather, all wedding events will take place outdoors. Please bring layers and a bathing suit!

Can we travel around Italy?
Answer
Yes! We would love for guests to travel around Italy before and after the wedding events. During the wedding, all activities and meals will be provided and coordinated and we would love guests to relax, take advantage of the villa and celebrate with us.

Will dietary restrictions be accounted for?

Any dietary restrictions reported on your RSVP will be reported to the venue and prioritized through the entirety of the week.

Miscellaneous Tips & Tricks for Travel & Site-Seeing (Rome)
Answer
General - Always keep your passport on your person, police will perform random checks in the big cities and charge a fee if you don't have it - If you want to exchange USD cash, we recommend doing so before you leave, there are high fees for cash-to-cash exchanges, ATMs are everywhere for a small additional fee. - Rome has clean drinking water fountains scattered throughout the city which are great for refillable water bottles Flying in and out of Rome - When you land in Rome, there are kiosks where you scan your passport and take your picture, do this. They will give you a sticker for your passport, which will make moving through customs on the way home easier. - If flying through Rome on the way home, arrive at the airport ~ 3 hr early, you likely will have to take a bus to the international terminal and checked baggage can take a long time - If you have TSA precheck download the MPC app & fill out the info with your passport, when you land in the US, submit a ticket and you can utilize the express MPC lane through customs
