Note the picnic blanket. Seems like every weekend had a picnic.

California!

One of our first weekends of the summer together. We spent forever making juice out of these melons and got every surface in the kitchen sticky. (Plus Rue the dog, who wishes she was marrying Alex!)

Flowers Alex brought Amy Beth on their second date, right after she got home from China. Amy Beth thinks he's a great flower chooser! (Funny: Alex got thirsty and drank flower water on the drive.)

Best late lunch ever with Alex's mom Sue, and our friends who introduced us, Scott and Emily.

The weekend we made our relationship official.

Alex's company bowling party! No need to record our bowling scores. Lots of fun.

See, Alex is a good flower chooser!

Right after Amy Beth lead us all astray on a "flat and easy" hike in Yosemite and right before an afternoon lightning storm moved in.

One of our dates, hanging on a couch in a thrift store to get out of the heat.

We want some more!

From Amy Beth's 9 year old niece, Julia, who is beyond excited to have a new uncle, especially one who knows how to fix bikes. "Auntie is so lucky."

Taken the weekend we first talked about getting married.

Amy Beth's first trip to Cincinnati to visit Alex's amazing family. Photo taken with the help of the big metal rooster in the Dingle-Ahlrichs's backyard.

Shout out to Maddie Noll for this sweet capture.

Just hanging out in the Subaru at Land Park. Our bum-energy capacity is a perfect match.
