Boreas Pass
Just a short drive out of town, Boreas Pass offers sweeping views over Breck and the tenmile mountain range, with some of the best fall foliage in Colorado.
Dillon Reservoir
Bordered by the towns of Frisco, Silverthorne, and Dillon, this large freshwater reservoir is a beautiful space to explore with access to a variety of activities. Take the short trek up to Sapphire Point (ceremony location), rent a kayak on a hot day, or simply go for a scenic drive around the whole reservoir!
Gondola Ride / Epic Discovery Fun Park (Peak 8)
Looking to gain access to some high alpine views without a car or by straining the lungs? Hop on the Gondola in town and ride up to the base of Peak 8, where you'll have access to a whole host of fun Fall activities from the Alpine Slide to a Bungee Trampoline. Sapphire Point Trail
This is where we intended to have our ceremony before Covid crushed that dream. It is still open to the public though so definitely worth the 15 minute drive from Breck. Just park and walk in a few minutes and you will receive jaw dropping views over Lake Dillon!
Main Street
There is a huge concentration of bars/restaurants/shops along this 1 mile stretch. And under the current circumstances, Main St. has been closed down to vehicle traffic to make room for people to spread out and for expanded outdoor dining.
