Dear Friends & Family - Over the past months, we have been so grateful to all of you who have asked about the wedding and who have empathized with us. We have wrestled and sometimes grieved with the reality that it is not safe for all of us to travel and celebrate together, but your love and companionship means more to us than one evening of fun. We are writing to you to let you know that we will not be holding our wedding in Estes Park, CO on 10/10/2020. Instead, we have decided to steal away to the mountains together and elope by ourselves on the same date. In the future, we will find a time and place that is safe for all of us to celebrate our love for each other with all of you - and our love of all of you with the both of us. Although we're planning a very socially distanced elopement, we'd love to have you join us in these ways: Letters: Even though you can't be with us, we'd love to make you a part of our mountain adventure through a card or note to read during our special day. Please feel free to send us a card/note by October 1 to our home in Texas (message us for the address). This would mean the world to us! Live Stream w/Champagne Toast: We are researching a streaming option for our sunset ceremony and will have details for you soon! If you'd still like to contribute a wedding gift, we have made it simple to contribute our Teardrop Camper Freedom Fund (https://www.zola.com/wedding/alexandamber10102020/registry). As you might know, we are both big fans of the outdoors and long distance road trips through our beautiful country. We're looking forward to a lifetime of adventures and memories that we'll be able to share for generations to come. Thank you for all of your support. Love, Alex & Amber
