Is there a dress code?

Yes, we kindly request everyone join us in formal, all-black attire. It's time to break out your little black dress, your black gown, your black suit, or even your black tux and party like it's the 1920's...or the 2020's!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

8:00 p.m. ET. Please note that our venue is located in historic downtown Shelbyville, Kentucky, and our date is in the middle of Winter when weather can be unpredictable. Therefore, please arrive in Shelbyville by 8:00 p.m. to give you time to find a place to park and make your way to the 2nd floor of The Gatsby for the ceremony.

Will dinner be served?

Answer

No, dinner will not be served. Because our wedding begins at 8:30 p.m., we kindly ask guests to eat dinner prior to our wedding. We will be serving a light snack, dessert, and a champagne toast at midnight.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, we have chosen to make our wedding and reception an adults-only NYE celebration. We hope this gives you the chance to enjoy a special date night, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding!

Answer

If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP through the website. We appreciate your understanding and are excited to celebrate our wedding and NYE 2027 with you!
