Where can I find your registry and how does it work?

Answer

We are using Zola as our main registry to keep everything in one place. You will see: • Physical gifts from Zola and other retailers • Cash funds for experiences HOW TO PURCHASE A PHYSICAL GIFT 1. Click on the gift you would like to buy on our Zola registry. 2. Zola will take you to the store’s website (for example: Amazon, Crate & Barrel, etc.). 3. Buy the gift on that store’s website, just like you normally would. 4. During checkout on the store’s website, send the gift to our address. 5. After you finish your purchase, return to our Zola registry. 6. Click the button that says “Mark as Purchased.” This last step is very important so no one else buys the same gift. If you need help, Zola will also send you an email with instructions after you click on a gift. HOW TO GIVE A CASH GIFT 1. Click on the cash fund you’d like to contribute to. 2. Choose the amount you wish to give. 3. Complete your contribution through Zola. Cash gifts are automatically marked as received. Zola keeps everything organized in one place and helps us avoid duplicate gifts. Thank you so much for celebrating with us and for your generosity!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! If your invitation includes “and guest” or indicates a plus-one, you’re welcome to bring someone. If not, we kindly ask that you attend solo as we’re keeping our celebration intimate. Thank you for understanding!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly invite you to dress in cocktail attire as we celebrate our wedding. Ladies, feel free to wear midi or maxi dresses, or stylish separates. Gentlemen, a casual suit will be perfect. As a small request, we kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white dresses and skirts.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to arrive between 3:30-3:45 PM. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Arriving a little early gives you time to park, find your seat, and settle in before the festivities begin. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

A public parking lot is available. The parking lot is located on Polk Street. The following are driving directions: Traveling down Blount Street from Peace Street, you will pass The Merrimon-Wynne House on your left. Take an immediate left on Polk Street and the parking lot will be located on your right between Blount and Person Street. Traveling down Person Street from Downtown Raleigh, you will turn left on Polk Street and the parking lot entrance will be on your left, just past The Burning Coal Theater.

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Merrimon-Wynne House in Raleigh. Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors.
