Our story began in 2020, when fate...or a great swipe brought us together. From the moment we started talking, we knew there was something special between us. Though we were 4 hours apart, we couldn't ignore the connection we shared. Long-distance love isn’t always easy, but our relationship was anything but ordinary. Endless FaceTime calls, late-night conversations, and weekend trips back and forth upstate quickly became the norm. From frequently needed ice-cream runs, lake house adventures, several planned/unplanned date nights, traveling, and spending every big and little moment together; we quickly became best friends above all else. After Alexa graduated college in 2022, we finally closed the distance for good. Our adventures together only grew from there—whether it was spontaneous vacations, to cozy nights in binge watching Netflix series, to trying every trendy food place on Long Island and supporting each other through all that life has to offer. On April 28th, 2024, John asked Alexa to spend forever with him at Corey Beach, the place where they would always go to walk the dog, to decompress, to listen to music and walk the boardwalk over looking the bay. Of course, She said "yes!" Since then, we’ve been building a life together. From 4 hours apart to 10 minutes apart, that still was too far. In 2025 we officially moved into our first home, growing even closer as best friends, dog parents and soulmates. Five years, countless memories, and endless laughter later, we’re beyond excited to make it official and become husband and wife. We can’t wait for the next chapter of our journey together!
