Our story began in the fall of 2017 at UW-La Crosse. We were neighbors in Eagle Hall during our sophomore year. What started as casual hangouts and study sessions in the dorm common area with friends and roommates, slowly grew into something special. Over time, our friendship deepened, and on March 25, 2018, Brennan finally asked Lex to be his girlfriend. From that moment on, we've been writing our own love story—one filled with laughter, adventure, and countless cherished memories.

On December 12th, 2024, we had plans for a dinner date at Seven Acre Dairy Co., one of our favorite restaurants. Before dinner, Brennan suggested a hike, something that perfectly fits our love for the outdoors and adventuring together. Despite the frigid 12-degree weather, Lex agreed to bundle up and head out, unaware of what was truly in store. As we walked through the winter landscape, Brennan got down on one knee and asked the question that would change our lives forever. Lex said YES! It was a magical moment and an evening we’ll always treasure.
