We met in the "red bricks" at Cal Poly during our first week of college. This cute guy with a head full of blonde curls asked me to play a quick game of ping pong with him in the game room. I happily accepted the challenge, thinking he didn't stand a chance. Unsurprisingly to those who know Zach, he went on to win after he coyly switched hands mid-game. This was followed by a playful smirk and some light roasting. Before we parted ways, He told me his room number and to "stop by" if I was ever doing laundry on the first floor. I smiled and told him I would stick to the girl's laundry room, but that I was sure we would run into each other again. As to no surprise for anyone reading here, we continued to run into one another quite often as Zach was in for the "long game". We SLO-ly grew our friendship over fall quarter until Zach asked me to be his girlfriend the day we both returned to the dorms after winter break.
