Denver International Airport (DEN) is the recommended airport. The drive to Devil's Thumb Ranch is approximately 2.5 hours, and we recommend renting a car.
The drive takes you over Berthoud Pass, one of Colorado's most scenic mountain routes. Be sure to allow extra travel time and check weather and road conditions before heading out.
We have reserved room blocks at Devil's Thumb Ranch. Please visit the travel page for details on booking.
Devil's Thumb Ranch embraces relaxed mountain luxury, so you'll feel right at home in elevated yet comfortable attire throughout the weekend. For daytime, think jeans or casual pants, sweaters, flannels, boots, sneakers, or your favorite outdoor layers. If you plan to enjoy the ranch's activities, be sure to pack appropriate activewear and footwear. For the wedding celebration, please follow the dress code listed on the invitation. Regardless of the season, we recommend bringing a jacket, wrap, or coat, as mountain evenings can be cool. Comfortable shoes are also encouraged, especially for walking between venues and on natural terrain. Colorado weather can change quickly, so layers are always your best friend.
Devil's Thumb Ranch offers everything from horseback riding and archery to skiing, cross-country skiing, fat tire biking, sleigh rides, a world-class spa, heated pool, and exceptional dining. We encourage guests to reserve activities in advance.
We kindly ask that you keep phones tucked away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. Once cocktail hour begins, we'd love for you to capture and share the celebration!
Please note that we have required an advanced RSVP. Please share any dietary restrictions when submitting your formal RSVP after we sent out invitations, and we'll do our best to accommodate them.
Devil's Thumb Ranch sits at approximately 8,800 feet above sea level. If you're traveling from lower elevations, be sure to stay hydrated, take it easy on your first day, and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
Children are welcome if they are included on your invitation. Please include them in your RSVP.
Absolutely. The Ranch Creek Spa is one of the highlights of Devil's Thumb Ranch and offers massages, facials, body treatments, and wellness experiences. We highly recommend booking appointments in advance.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the ranch. While cell service is generally reliable, you may notice occasional interruptions depending on where you are, one of the many perks of escaping to the mountains!
We highly recommend it! Winter Park, Fraser, and Rocky Mountain National Park are all nearby, making it easy to turn our wedding weekend into a Colorado getaway.
Yes! One of the best parts of staying at Devil's Thumb Ranch is experiencing Colorado's incredible wildlife. It's not uncommon to spot moose, deer, foxes, elk, or birds of prey during your stay. Please admire wildlife from a distance and never feed the animals.
