We're getting Married!

In August 2012, Alexa and Sheldon met on a random - but destined - Taco Tuesday at their friend Ashley’s Nana’s house. Their friends, Ashley and Jenny, introduced them that night. Their connection sparked over a conversation about their dreams for the future and their careers.  Before the night was over they had “Sheldon The Barber” and “Lex The Waxer” in each other’s phones.  They took their time getting to know each other.  The relationship blossomed over trips to Stinson beach where Alexa would soak up the sun while Sheldon would tear up the beach on his skim board.  On weekends, they danced the night away in dancehalls and clubs.  And on warm, lazy days, you could find them with a couple of coronas and meat on the grill.  Over the course of a year, life seemed to be filled with love, fun, and adventure.  It was apparent they had found something special, like an old school love, in each other.  Finally, in October 2013 at a Warriors game, Sheldon asked Alexa to be his Girlfriend on the Jumbotron, Alexa agreed it was time to officially claim their love.

In 2018, Alexa and Sheldon moved into a cute, cozy rental home in Martinez for just the two of them. They planned a big housewarming party and, little did Alexa know, Sheldon had a surprise for her. With all their closest friends and family, Sheldon got down on one knee and proposed to Alexa! It was a memorable, heartwarming moment. And she said gladly yes.

They originally planned to get married 8/8/2020. The world had different plans and they decided to wait until they were able to celebrate their love with friends and family the way they wanted. Fast forward to 4 years later, they are getting married!
