Question
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start at 4pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to sign the guest book, snap a Polaroid of yourself, grab a beverage and get settled.

Where is the ceremony and how long will it last?
Answer
The ceremony is at Alexa’s childhood home in downtown Hickory. The ceremony will take place in the back yard area. It will be around 15-20 minutes. The address is 421 1st Avenue NW, Hickory, NC.

Will there be food & drinks?
Answer
YES OF COURSE! We'll have champagne, wine, beer, and other beverages like water, tea, and soda, as well as a few charcuterie boards before dinner. For dinner, we will be having a classic Moroccan dish, Chicken Tagine with Couscous. We'll also have chicken tenders and fries for the younger or pickier guests.

Will there be dancing?
Answer
There will be much dancing to be had. Please feel free to bring an extra pair of shoes to change into so that you can dance the night away with us!

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
We are registered here on Zola for a honeymoon fund, but will also accept in person offerings at the wedding (that way we can both save on fees). Shane and I have been together for 6.5 years and have a very established household and do not need the typical items that are listed on a wedding registry.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We would love to see everyone in some formalwear. Incorporate floral prints, anything that gives off that enchanted garden vibe.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Parking will be available: *on Main Ave NW behind the house *on 1st Avenue NW in the parking lot across the street (First Citizens)

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy. Please feel free to after the ceremony ends.
Question
What happens in between the ceremony and the reception?
Answer
The bride and groom will be having photos immediately following the ceremony with their wedding party. Please mingle and have a cocktail. Dinner will be ready around 530-6pm, followed by dancing and lots of fun.
