Hudson Valley

The lower Hudson Valley is rich with hiking, museums, wineries and breweries, farm-to-table restaurants, and beautiful little towns. Below are just a few recommendations!

Recommendations in map form!

Storm King Art Center

1 Museum Road, New Windsor, NY 12553
, (845) 534-3115

An open-air museum with beautiful Hudson Valley views and the largest collection of contemporary outdoor sculptures in the United States.

Brotherhood, America's Oldest Winery

100 Brotherhood Plaza Drive, Washingtonville, NY 10992
, (845) 496-3661

A great winery (America's oldest!) just down the road from the venue. They have a great patio to enjoy a snack and a glass of wine.

Beacon

Beacon, NY 12508

A great town about 30 minutes away from the venue, with a famous contemporary art museum (Dia:Beacon) and a hike, Mount Beacon, that has the highest point in the Hudson Highlands (a challenge, but amazing views the entire way). After a hike we recommend Hudson Valley Brewery for a sit and a beer.

Surprise Lake

West Milford, NJ 07421

One of our favorite hikes in the area. Less strenuous than Mt Beacon.

Orange County Distillery at Brown Barn Farms

286 Maple Avenue, New Hampton, NY 10958
, (845) 374-2011

A cocktail bar with a food truck, nestled on a 23-acre farm.

Magnanini Winery, Restaurant & Distillery

172 Strawridge Road, Wallkill, NY 12589
, (845) 895-2767

Palaia Winery and Meadery

10 Sweet Clover Road, Woodbury, NY 10930
, (845) 928-5384

Warwick

Warwick, NY 10990

If you want to experience a true Americana Hudson Valley town, Warwick is a great choice. You can walk along Main Street, or visit Warwick Winery + Distillery or The Grange for lunch.
