Pyramid Point
From the Pyramid Point Trailhead parking lot, the lookout is a short 0.6 mile trek (each way). It is absolutely stunning and we would highly recommend! The trail should have light traffic in the winter, making it doable for those who try.
French Valley Winery
Did you know the Leelanau Peninsula is a part of one of the best wine trails in the world? We encourage you to stop by French Valley Winery for a flight of wines - this is our favorite vineyard in the area.
Historic Fishtown
Just down the block from the wedding venue is the historic Fishtown. It is a cool spot to visit and a great photo-op! Fishtown was, and is still, comprised of weathered fishing shanties, smokehouses, overhanging docks lined with fish tugs, charter fishing boats, and the Manitou Island Transit ferry. The area was originally inhabited by members of the Turtle Clan of the Lenape Indian tribe (whom the Europeans named the Delaware Indian Tribe).
45th Parallel
Leland, MI contains the 45th Parallel (marking halfway between the Equator & North Pole). See if you can find this marker as a great selfie spot!

Stop by Northern Latitudes for locally made spirits. Fun fact: the Horseradish Vodka from Northern Latitudes will be featured at the reception Oyster Bar for Oyster Shooters!

One of the highest rated breweries in Michigan! Stop by for a visit and enjoy a beverage in one of their many outdoor igloos!
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore
We highly recommend that our guests (esp the out of town ones!) take a drive through the scenic shoreline of the Sleeping Bear Dunes!!
