Best Day Ever

MIchael said in 2017, "within the next two years, I will propose". He proposed on the LAST POSSIBLE DAY, 12/31/19, just before midnight at "Superstition" in the desert. The desert is a place they always enjoyed together, Alexa loves to camp and Mike to ride his dirt bike. Both enjoyed the "clarity" of staring up to the stars around the campfire, surrounded by friends and family. On this very night, Michael was so beyond nervous, making every excuse to not be around Alexa. Alexa, totally oblivious, just spent time with friends around the campfire, enjoying her time. It was New Years weekend, tradition is to light the Christmas tree on fire at midnight. The camp gathers around for Michael to light the tree on fire. Alexa, mesmerized, starts to take a video of the tree engulfed in fire not even noticing that Michael appeared to be "tying his shoe" right in front of her. Without a word, he pulls out the ring, stares up at her, and says "Marry Me?". Totally taken off-guard, Alexa asks Michael to repeat 2 more times before she says yes (had to make sure he was serious haha). And just like that, their journey continued...
