We met on a dating app called Hinge while living in New York City. Our first date was at Upright Brew House, where what was supposed to be a quick drink turned into hours of conversation—covering everything from politics and religion to our mutual love for Golden Retrievers. After spending a few memorable years in the city, we made a pit stop in Austin, Texas before eventually making our way back to our home state of California. Today, we’re happily settled in Southern California with our Golden Retriever puppy, Molly.
