The Rumpf's

Max threw a party (surprise) and invited Alexa and her roommate, Erin. Alexa and Erin were on the fence about going, but decided why not. "We'll only stay for an hour" That hour turned into 5AM and the next thing you know it's Max inviting Alexa over to watch Grey's Anatomy. More late nights on Farnam street in Davenport and lots of Azteca dates. Covid happened and Max stayed in Davenport and Alexa went back to Davis Junction. Alexa took trips to Davenport to see Max and then Max decided to come meet the parents and at Rock Cut State Park asked Alexa to be his first girlfriend.

Max accepted a job with Federated Insurance where he had to spend October through May in Minnesota. Anyone knows that Alexa, knows she was not going to Minnesota during the winter. Alexa stayed in Davenport and started her job in Social Work. Before going to Minnesota, Max surprised Alexa with their first baby, Kora. Kora kept Alexa company while Max was gone. Max and Alexa did some long distance, but many visits in Davenport since Max had to drive to Champaign often.

Once Minnesota was over, Max accepted his region in central Illinois. MOVING TIME! Champaign was the landing spot, the home of the Fighting Illini, Angel's alma mater. Max and Alexa closed on their first home on June 9th 2023 settled on Doisy Lane. During the time in Champaign, we have spent time supporting the Fighting Illini and many golf dates. Creating new memories in our first home.

Max and Alexa wanted to send out Christmas cards, so Alexa set up everything (of course). Leading up the the pictures, Max started asking more about the photographer and Alexa didn't think anything of it. Max ended up proposing during pictures and invited our family down for a surprise lunch to celebrate.
