Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL) Distance: 6 miles Drive time: 12 minutes Why it’s best: This is the main airport for Fort Lauderdale and by far the easiest.  ⸻ ✈️ Good Alternative (more flights) 2. Miami International Airport (MIA) Distance: 30 miles Drive time: 40–50 minutes (traffic contingent) Why consider it: Often has more flight options and sometimes cheaper fares.  👉 Trade-off = better flight availability vs. longer, traffic-prone drive. ⸻ ✈️ North Option (smaller, easy airport) 3. Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) Distance: 45 miles Drive time: 1 hour Why consider it: Smaller, calmer airport—can be easier to navigate.

The welcome event Thursday night is completely optional - just let us know if you plan to attend or not once you have booked your flight. The Friday night rehearsal dinner only requires the presence of the wedding party / immediate family. Saturday night is the actual wedding.
