Yes it is! If you are invited to the wedding, we are hoping you can come party with us all weekend! We will be arriving on Friday 07/07 and will be there all weekend through 07/10. Please feel free to join us for any or all of the activities we have listed in the schedule.
Above all, we want you to feel comfortable, free, and ready to party all weekend long! There is no real dress code for the ceremony/reception. Please feel free to dress in a way that is most comfortable for you. If that means shorts and a t-shirt, have at it. If you want to embrace the Sundance-mountain-chic style, maybe put a braid in your hair and find a full-brim hat and a suede-leather vest. The vibe at Sundance is nice in that if you want to dress it up, you can. However, if you want to rock your newest Patagucci and some Teva's, you'll also fit in just great. There will however be a prize for whoever has the best, "Butch Cassidy and Sundance kid" outfit. When choosing your outfit, here are some things to keep in mind: -Fluctuating temperatures. July in Utah can see temps in the 90's. We will be up in the mountains, so it shouldn't get into the 90's, but it very well could be in the 80's. However, there usually is a nice breeze to keep things moderate. It can cool down at night though. So expect to feel warm during the day and to have a decent temperature drop at night. You wont need a down parka, but having something to throw over your sexy shoulders when the sun goes down might be nice. -The ceremony: You will be riding a chairlift and then taking a short walk on soft ground. We recommend avoiding shoes that might easily come off on a chairlift. Or shoes with a heel that doubles as a lawn aerator. -Feel free to get weird. If you have been browsing your local thrift shop and found that perfect 1970's disco suit, or you've been waiting for the right time to bust out your full cowboy/cowgirl ass-less chaps and frilled leather jacket outfit, this is your one shot. Your one opportunity. Don't let it slip.
The ceremony will take place at “The Mandan Summit” at Sundance Resort. Access to this summit is via chairlift and a short 1 minute walk to the summit itself.
Please see the Travel/lodging section. Alexa and I, as well as most of the wedding party, will be staying at Sundance Resort.
If you got an invite from us, it means you are invited to everything!! We are hoping everyone we invited will join us for the ceremony, reception, and any of the activities we have planned over the weekend.
