From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) Direct High-Speed Train: There are a few direct Frecciarossa trains daily that go straight from Fiumicino Airport station to Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN). The journey takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes. Take the Leonardo Express shuttle train (runs every 15 minutes) from the airport to Roma Termini station (32 min). From there, high-speed trains depart for Florence every 20-30 minutes. Total travel time is approximately 2 hours. ******************************************************* From Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) To reach Florence from Malpensa, you will need to pass through Milan city center: Take the Malpensa Express train from the airport to Milano Centrale station. Trains depart every 30 minutes and the trip takes about 50 minutes. From Milano Centrale, board a high-speed train (Frecciarossa or Italo) bound for Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN). The journey from central Milan to Florence takes about 1 hour and 50 minutes.

It allows you to track your driver and pay via credit card. Via WhatsApp: You can text (no voice notes) your current address to +39 333 4242424 to request a ride. 📌 Important Note for the Return: Official taxi stands are easily available throughout the city center (e.g., Santa Maria Novella station, Piazza della Repubblica). However, since the wedding venue is located outside the city center up in the hills, app coverage might be limited late at night. We highly recommend booking your return taxi well in advance, either by scheduling a specific time with your driver during the ride there or by calling the dispatch numbers earlier in the evening.
