What do I do with the recipe card that came with my invitation?

Answer

If you would like, please fill out the card with one of your family favorite recipes or any recipe with significance for you that you think the new couple would like. Then bring the card with you to the wedding, there will be a recipe box to put it in or you can put it in a card.

Are plus-ones and kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children under age 18 at the ceremony or reception. In an effort to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only guests formally invited on our invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus-one, it will be noted on your invitation.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be having a post-wedding lunch the next day for family and friends alike! Guests of all ages are welcome! Please contact Alexa if you have interest in coming!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would greatly appreciate if you RSVP’d by October 9th, 2025 through the RSVP form on this website. We ask that you kindly respond as soon as possible so we can finalize our guest count.

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will be automatically marked as a "no". We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the tie frame they have given us. Thank you for your understanding!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Garden/Cocktail Attire: pastels, florals, sundresses, lighter hued suits, shoes suitable for outdoors and dancing!

Is there parking for the venue?

Answer

There is parking available at the venue. Please follow the signage off of Jo Mac Road. The parking lot is also site for Uber/Lyft drop off and pick up. Follow path through trees towards the tea house and turn left to find the ceremony space.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have hotel blocks at the Hampton Inn in Chapel Hill, please see the link in the Travel section for your discounted rate.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend Uber or Lyft for those who do not have transportation. Please schedule pick up beforehand or request ride at least 1 hour before the end of the event to ensure you get a ride.
