Here are a few recommendations of our favorite places in the PDX area :) 

Hood River is just 60 miles east of Portland, and famous for its art, culture, and world-class outdoor activities.

With lots of shopping, boutiques, antique shops, art galleries, and more than 30 restaurants, hang around downtown Hood River for a great cup of coffee and shopping!

Visit Downtown Hood River

This 35 mile scenic drive through the Hood River Valley will take you to nearly 30 stops, including farm stands, bakeries, and purveyor markets to fields of u-pick flowers, lavender, and fruit to wineries, breweries, cideries, and more!

Drive the Hood River Fruit Loop

Rent kayaks and paddle boards to explore the Columbia River Gorge!

With plenty of hikes in the Gorge, here are a few popular to Hood River:
- Hood River Mountain Loop - 4.4 miles
- Bald Mountain from Lolo Pass Trail - 6.7 miles 
- Starvation Creek State Park
