We're getting married!

We met on Alexa’s moms birthday on December 28th 2016. They came into the restaurant I was bar tending at for a night cap after getting their hair done and we all seemed to kick it off right away. Alexa was looking drop dead gorgeous and I was in an apron and a T-shirt. A few weeks later her mom (Kathy) came back to the restaurant with some friends and had dinner at the bar. When she walked in she asked if I remembered her, which I did and proved so by saying what she and Alexa ordered. She also asked if I remembered her name, which I responded “No, but I remember your daughters name is Alexa.” After awhile she said “You know my daughter was wondering if you were single?” I said “Tell her I was wondering the same thing.” Kathy then asked if I wanted Alexa’s number, which I took and called her 3 days later to ask her out on a date. We've been dating since.

We dated for 3 1/2 years before we planned a little weekend getaway in Stillwater, MN. We got engaged that weekend just below a waterfall while hiking. Jon had asked another couple to take our picture under the waterfall and ended up getting down on one knee. It had been the best 4 years of our life. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in St. Peter!
