Hattiesburg is called "The Hub City" because of its driving distance to several southern destinations. If you feel up to it and want to make a spring break out of our wedding, we recommend visiting New Orleans or any of the beautiful beaches of the Gulf Coast. Some beaches we recommend are Gulf Shores and Orange Beach in Alabama (2.5 hour drive). Additionally, Destin, Florida and any of the surrounding beaches on 30A are around a 3.5 hour drive. If you are a fan of HGTV’s Home Town, Laurel is just a short 30 minute drive north of Hattiesburg.
