What kind of clothes should I pack?

Answer

Bring layers! It can be cold but the humidity makes it feel warmer than you might expect. Remember that Juneau is a rainforest and it will likely rain during your visit.

What kind of affordable activities are there to do in Juneau?

Answer

The best activities are free! There are plenty of hikes, parks, and beaches to explore. Check out our recommendations page for some of our favorite activities.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is not a strict dress code, but we ask that you dress nice. Please do not wear white or rust colors as these colors are reserved for the bride and bridal party.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, transportation from the Ramada hotel to the venue will be provided for all guests. We kindly ask that you use this transportation as there is not sufficient parking space at the venue for all guests. There will be parking available at the Ramada for guests staying elsewhere.

Can I bring a date?

Yes, we ask that you include your date in your RSVP so that we can make sure that they have a seat.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome. If your child requires their own seat, please include them in your RSVP. If they do not need their own seat, we ask that you do not count them in your RSVP.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Juneau is a popular tourist destination, please keep this in mind and plan ahead when booking flights and hotels as they can get expensive and fill up quickly.
