We're thrilled to celebrate our special day with you; we also want to share the beauty and adventure of Montana. Take some time to explore this stunning area and enjoy all the wonderful experiences/food it has to offer!

Yellowstone National Park - North Entrance

The North Entrance of Yellowstone is only about 1 hour from Livingston! Explore iconic spots like Old Faithful and the Grand Prismatic Spring. Sage Lodge offers excellent tour options. It’s a must-do during your visit and a perfect way to immerse yourself in the beauty of Yellowstone.

Long Outfitting Fly Fishing

P.O. Box 1224, Livingston, MT 59047
, 406-220-6775

The Yellowstone River is one of just a handful of officially-designated Blue Ribbon Trout Rivers in the U.S. (there are actually only seven states total that have Blue Ribbon fisheries!). The Livingston section of the river is considered especially great for fishing, consistently producing large trout of several species.

Rowdy River Guides

70 Murphy Lane, Pray, MT 59065

This uber-scenic, fairly calm stretch of the Yellowstone, the longest undammed river in the Lower 48, is spectacular! Whether you bring your own inflatable kayak or take a guided rafting trip, spending time on the river is one of the best things to do in Livingston, MT.

For those seeking a true Montana adventure, Bear Paw Outfitters offers an unforgettable outdoor experience. Located in the heart of Big Sky Country, this local outfitter provides a range of guided excursions, from hunting and fishing trips to scenic wildlife tours and backcountry expeditions.

, 406-220-2491

Another great option for a smooth, relaxing raft ride down the Yellowstone River.

Pine Creek Falls

Pine Creek Road, Livingston, MT 59047

Located outside of Livingston on the way to Yellowstone National Park, Pine Creek Falls is a relatively easy waterfall hike. The 2.5-mile roundtrip hike starts from Pine Creek Campground, an excellent site for car camping. The trail is mostly shaded, very well-marked, and gains only moderate, gradual elevation - manageable for just about anyone. Also, be sure to stop at Pine Creek Lodge before or after your hike for a beer, casual bite, and live music!

The Historic Murray Hotel

201 West Park Street, Livingston, MT 59047

A downtown staple since 1904 - be sure to grab a cocktail at the Murray Bar! The Murray occasionally has live music, and it’s not at all uncommon to spot celebrities. If you’re hungry, book a table at the fantastic 2nd Street Bistro or order from Gil’s Goods or Stella’s Gourmet Kitchen, all part of what’s known as the Murray Block. Anthony Bourdain repeatedly named the Murray Hotel among his top 10 in the world and once publicly called the Murray Bar "one of the world’s finest saloons."

Pine Creek Lodge

2496 East River Road, Livingston, MT 59047

Experience unique, rustic-yet-comfortable accommodations at Pine Creek Lodge, located in the heart of Paradise Valley. Just down the street from downtown Livingston, the lodge offers live music, a welcoming restaurant and a bar. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy Montana’s charm before or after the wedding.
