Our journey began on December 1, 2018, during our first semester of college at a Christmas party. Our connection was instant, but with both of us heading home for a 6-week break, we decided to take a step back from pursuing a relationship. During the holidays, we focused on family and exchanged only a few occasional texts. However, by the end of the break, we both found our way back to each other when we both coincidentally returned to school early for a Parker McCollum concert. We ran into each other in the crowd and instantly rekindled our connection. On February 22, 2019, Cole asked Alexa to be his girlfriend in a Whataburger drive thru, in true Texan fashion. Over the next few years, we both graduated from SFA and began our post-graduate journeys. Alexa moved to San Antonio for OT school, while Cole started his career in Houston at Unify. We spent 2.5 years doing long-distance, constantly counting down the days and traveling to see each other whenever we could. On December 7th, 2024, after Alexa moved back to Houston and completed her first two clinicals, Cole planned a special dinner at Hughes Landing where he asked Alexa to marry him! It was a special moment between the two of us that we will never forget. Afterwards our families met us at the restaurant where we were showered with love and celebrated the joining of our families! This season of life has been so special and full of love! We can’t wait for March 14th to become Mr. and Mrs. Moorhaj!
