A Day to remember

It all started when Charles introduced himself to Alexa in her freshman year of college (2018) in the dorm where they lived at FSU. Once he knew her name, he would say "hi" to her every day when they passed each other on the way to class. Alexa thought it was a bit strange/funny that he was so consistent in his greetings since they never had any other interactions, but she'd wave back. Fast forward to October of her junior year (Charles's senior year), when they met again at a brunch held by Bradley (the groomsman) at his apartment. Charles was shocked to see that the shy girl he'd say hi to was actually very loud with a sarcastic sense of humor. Likewise, Alexa was pleasantly surprised to learn that the seemingly goofy guy she remembered actually had a witty, sarcastic sense of humor like her. After that day, Alexa and Charles started becoming better and better friends, and would secretly hope the other would always show up to their friend-group hangouts. Luckily, the two always did, and they quickly became inseparable. Charles liked Alexa from the start, but she was a bit slower to realize WHY she was always so happy to be around him. Thankfully, Charles waited around until she figured it out.
