Let's Party!

It all started with a swipe right! But really! We met through the dating app Bumble right as Cassie was in the process of moving from Virginia to Seattle, Washington (with a small three month pit stop in PA). Luckily, Alexa took a chance on Cassie and said yes to a first date and the rest is history.

When we met, Cassie was headed to the other side of the country for Grad school. We spent a year hopping on planes every 4-8 weeks to see each other over long weekends and meeting up for getaways and different cities. When it came time for Cassie to job hunt she was able to find a job that put her right back in the DC area! In September of 2019 Cassie made the drive back across country so she and Alexa could move in together!

March 2020 brought a lot of change. With the pandemic on the horizon we didn't really know what 2020 was going to have in store for us. But, Alexa had a plan for one very specific event...THE PROPOSAL! Alexa planned a perfect proposal that included a sunset photoshoot at the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall! The proposal came as a total surprise for Cassie! Alexa managed to pull off the most epic surprise which only felt fitting for such and epic love story! With the Washington Monument as the backdrop Alexa got down on one knee and asked Cassie to spend the rest of forever with her. Cassie of course said YES!
