This museum is home to many famous works, including Diego Rivera's Detroit Industry Murals, one of Rivera's most recognized pieces. The DIA regularly hosts new exhibits and pieces of art and is a must see for anyone visiting Detroit!

Third Man Records Cass Corridor

Third Man Records was launched by Jack White in Detroit, MI in 2001, and in 2009 opened its current Nashville, TN location, which houses a record store, novelties lounge (featuring the Third Man Record Booth), label offices and distribution center, photo studio, and the world’s only live venue with direct-to-acetate recording capabilities. Third Man is an innovator in the world of vinyl records and a boundary pusher in the world of recorded music, aiming to bring tangibility and spontaneity back into the record business and issue releases that leave no doubt in the minds of listeners that music is indeed sacred.

The Henry Ford is an indoor and outdoor museum in Dearborn. The Henry Ford is the home of JFK's limousine, Lincoln's chair from the Ford Theatre, Thomas Edison's laboratory, Rosa Park's bus, and the Wright Brothers' bicycle shop!

Motown "Hitsvile USA"

Visit the original home of Motown Records. First opened by Berry Gordy in 1959, this former recording studio played a role in the careers and recordings of The Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross & the Temptations, Gladys Knight, Lionel Richie, and Somkey Robinson, to name a few. This is arguably the most important and influential recording studio in American history, and is located in downtown Detroit!

Detroit Zoo

The Detroit Zoo is located 12-miles north of the downtown and hosts a number of exciting animal exhibits. The Detroit Zoo hosts a "Wild Lights" event in December, where guests can visit the zoo in the evening and view the animals along with five million LED lights!

Detroit RiverWalk
