Question

What does "black tie, black dress" mean?

Answer

The dress code for the ceremony & reception on Saturday November 9th, 2024, is black tie, black dress. This means that we ask all guests to wear black for the ceremony and reception. For example, women are asked to wear a black formal gown, while men are asked to wear a black tux.

Question

Can I wear colors other than black for the the welcome party and/or rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Yes! Guests are only asked to wear black for the ceremony and reception. For the welcome party and rehearsal, guests may wear any color cocktail attire of their choice. Please see the "schedule" tab for more information on the specific dress codes for each event.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be outdoors, weather permitting, and the rehearsal dinner will take place indoors.

Question

Can I bring my children or a plus one?

Answer

Due to the venue's strict capacity requirements, only named guests on the invitations are able to be accommodated for the wedding weekend events.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Food and cocktails will be provided at all wedding events, which includes the Welcome Party, Rehearsal Dinner, and Reception.

Question

Is the resort/hotel "all-inclusive"?

Answer

No, the resort is not all-inclusive. There are several restaurants and bars on the hotel grounds that have the capability of charging to your room, but services are not included in the reservation of a hotel room. Because of this, we do suggest bringing your own alcohol and keeping it in your hotel room if there are concerns about additional cost during your stay.
