Robert and Alexa met while out in downtown Austin, TX in September of 2018. They were watching a football game amongst mutual friends when they were introduced. The two were immediately entranced with one another and the game quickly fell to the background while they talked and laughed. Robert asked for Alexa's number and took her on their first date on Rainey Street. This was the first of many memorable fun dates getting to know each other and quickly falling in love.

Robert proposed to Alexa while they were on vacation in Charleston, South Carolina. He planned a romantic and private proposal in the historic Philadelphia Alley. He began the proposal by telling her of his commitment to her, then proceeded to get down on one knee and asked her to marry him. After she said YES, they had a fun photo shoot around the dreamy city of Charleston. They popped champagne and celebrated the rest of the weekend as newly engaged fiancés. Charleston will always hold a special place in their hearts.
