Kenny and Alexa were both working as graduate assistant coaches at Regis University in Denver and became fast friends (despite the fact that Alexa thought he was huge a dork for wearing a full suit his first day of work). They started to spend more time together - Sundays were spent working on their MBAs at the lake house. Despite much encouragement from co-workers and players, they remained just friends for about a year. It all culminated one night at a bar when Kenny went in for the kiss (or was that Alexa?) while they were dancing... the rest is history!
