We are married!

We met in high school and had multiple classes together. In Clay's junior year we became friends through mutual friends and spent a lot of time together. Close family and friends will argue that we were in denial saying we were "just friends" during this time. Months later, it was official when Clay *finally* asked Alexa to be his girlfriend :) Four and a half years later, we were on a vacation in Florida. We planned to go to Sanibel Island- a favorite spot of Alexa's. Clay told her it was "her day", and we could do whatever she wanted that day. Alexa set about planning the day- not knowing she was essentially planning the proposal. Later, on a walk on the beach Clay asked Alexa to marry him. We got married at a beautiful mountainous location in Colorado on September 11th, with our small group of parents and siblings in attendance. We are so excited to share our celebration with you at our reception on October 17th! We'll see you then!!
