Four years ago, is where it all began. Somehow Bailee, Zacks older Sister and Alex’s good friend, roped the two of them into dancing the night away. In this old country bar Zack and Alex met for the first time. They cut some rug and split their sides with laughter until the bar was kicking them out at closing time. This local country bar had a twostep night every Wednesday and they met there religiously. Zack was rather persistent in asking Alex to go on a date and she somehow made it two weeks before even giving him her number. About four weeks of this “dancing” had gone on until finally, she said yes. They went on their first date and have been dance partners ever since. Within these past four years they have been inseparable. It seems like dance partners were not the only partners they were meant to be. For now, they are getting ready to dance through their next step in life together as the happily tie the knot!!
Alex and Zack were preparing for the biggest day in their lives to this point. That day being the day they closed on their first home!! Little did Alex know, Zack had even bigger plans. That morning, Alex and Zack waited in the living room of their shared one-bedroom apartment that they lived in for almost two years together. Accompanied with packed boxes, a happy pup and two overly excited parents Ardan and Pam Devine. Everyone waited patiently and, well, impatiently at times darn near all day. Then finally at almost 4:30 pm they received the call. They got the keys!! They all could not get out of that apartment fast enough it seemed. They all scurried to their cars and started driving towards their new house as Zacks family was eagerly waiting and watching iPhone locations to see if anyone was on the move. As they pulled up to the house for the "great reveal" a huge semi-truck was unloading a rather cool muscle car for one of their new neighbors. Right in front of the house! Trying to stall Alex everyone waited about ten minutes for the truck to leave. Luckily, it did, and they could take a photo with the "Sold" sign and the pup Aspen. A must. Alex could not wait a second longer and decided to make a dash to the front door. As she walked up to the front door, she noticed everyone else kept pausing. Alex said, "Don't you guys want to come inside?". As she turned around at the front door to see if everyone else was ready to finally go in Zack was already on one knee....and he asked for Alex’s hand in marriage, and she then could not help but to cry like a baby!
