No ceremony here! We’ll be eloping in Montana two weeks prior. This celebration is all about the party — an evening of live music, food, drinks, dancing, and fun with all of you.
Our reception will be at The Kessler Theater in Dallas. It’s a lively, busy area with limited parking. There is a small lot beside the venue and street parking all along the strip, but we highly recommend carpooling or using rideshare services to make things easier.
Come hungry! We’re serving a BBQ buffet catered by Hutchins, one of our favorite spots. The buffet will be open from 6:30 to 8:30
Absolutely. The bar will be fully open for beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks all night. Liquor will be available as a cash bar, so bring your cards or cash if you’d like to enjoy a cocktail or two!
Kind of! Our wedding party will have assigned seats, but the rest of the venue is open seating. We say: mix, mingle, and make new friends. Y’all means all!
We love your little ones, but The Kessler is an adult-oriented venue and isn’t ideal for small children. We kindly ask that you make arrangements for childcare so you can enjoy a well-deserved night out with us!
Formal, fun, and funky! We want you to feel your best and express your style. Dress up, play with color, bring your sparkle, or wear whatever feels festive and true to you. The Kessler is a historic music venue that has seen a lot of fantastic country and folk artists come through if that helps.
We’ll be busy soaking up the celebration, so if you have any questions leading up to the day or on the day itself, feel free to contact the groom's mama, Tonya Smith, at (214) 686-1999.
