For those of you who don’t know our story it all started with a swipe that turned into forever. Alex and I met on the dating app tinder when he was a senior in high school and I was a freshman is college. From our first date I knew he was the one because there was a different sense or feeling being around him. On our first date I met his entire family and there significant others and was never nervous but felt at home with all of them. Flash forward almost five years and we have made so many growths and changes in our personal lives and as a couple both. From moving, to a new job, to promotions, buying our first house, loss and accidents, buying our dog Tululah, and so much more we have come to our next chapter in life engagement and wedding planning. For those who don’t know the story of our engagement it took some time after my constant asking and wondering when it would happen I started to put it into Gods hands and trust that it would happen in his timing. So after what felt like forever it finally happened. Alex knew that to me a proposal was something that was intimate and should be shared between the two of us away from the pressure of others and society. So he took me out for a date night to the arcade where we played games all night long but saved just enough credits to take photos in the Photo Booth. Well to my surprise he had a plan no one knew about. Just as the machine started counting down before it got to one he popped the question and to say I was in shock was an understatement. I was filled with so many emotions at once but ultimately it was happiness that the time had come and we would be making the next step to forever with each other.
