Alex and Kaci met in late June of 2022 at Lucky’s Indoor Outdoor in downtown Phoenix. Kaci happened to be out with a few of her friends on a Friday night, and Alex made the decision to meet his friends downtown. "Skee-ball sounds fun." "Here’s $5." "Really?" There was no skee-ball played that night. Kaci and Alex instantly hit it off. It was like they were the only two in the bar. They stayed up talking until the sun rose. A Diamondbacks game. An elaborate three part date. A trip to the FAA radar tower. By August, the rest is history.

Over the year before they got engaged, Kaci and Alex packed countless adventures in to their busy schedules. Camping. Wineries. An impromptu trip to London. They hope to continue their travels, both foreign and domestic, for many years to come.

Kaci and Alex were on a week long camping trip in Idaho the week after Labor Day. They went camping in Mackey, stayed in Sun Valley and were headed up to Stanley for the day. "What do you want to do today?" "I don't know." "Do you want to rent a boat on RedFish Lake?" "What?" "I rented us a boat on RedFish Lake!" So they went on the boat at RedFish Lake. It was cloudy and rained a little. They split a bottle of red IdaWine and Alex piloted them around the lake. With 45 minutes left in the rental, the sun came out. Alex parked the boat, put the drone in the air and popped the question. It was yes of course.
