Maid of Honor
We've been best friends ever since we discovered we were the only ones interested in our International Relations Class at Plymouth South High. We've gotten into our fair share of trouble together, but always seem to make it out on top and with great memories. From Plymouth, to Tel Aviv, to New York & in between, Brittany has been the best friend (but more like a sister) that anyone could have. I couldn't imagine having anyone else by my side as my Maid of Honor.
Best Man
We've been best friends ever since Shane chose to sit next to the fat kid (me) on the school bus in 3rd grade. Shane always brings the fun and has pushed me to think hard about the kind of person I want to be in the world and then go for it. It will be an honor to have him by my side on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Our friendship was almost like a destiny as our mothers met in grade school and have been best friends for more than 50 years. (Sorry for giving away your age-- Imma). Talya has always been there in hard times or when I have locked myself out of my apartment again. (Pre-Alex it happened more than you'd think). It's amazing to see her as a mom of two to Ron and new baby, Adam, and an honor to have her as my bridesmaid.
Groomsman
Drew is the kind of friend everyone wishes they had. He always keeps in touch and calls just to check in and see how you are doing. He cares and most of all, he encourages me to be kinder and more thoughtful every time we talk. It is extremely special to have him with me in my wedding.
Bridesmaid
Chelsea or "Chay" as we call her started off as my best friend's sister, but when Brittany moved to Miami for school, Chay became one of my closets friends. From working on college projects together (I specifically remember trying to help her as she dissected a clock for its gears as part of some master plan I still don't understand) to her sisterly advice (thank you for keeping us alive on our road trip) I am thankful for the "C" to our "AB" (Ari & Britt) and so happy she can be a part of our wedding day.
Groomsman
Austin and I became close in college. We both got jealous that our roommates had their girlfriends over all the time and decided it was time to move in with another single person. After many deep late night talks (some more easily remembered than others), I knew this would be a lifelong friendship. It seems that at every major turn in my life, Austin has been there for me - from my move to Chicago to my stint in Colorado (prefer not to talk about it). It only made sense that he would be there with me on this next major turn, my wedding day.
